Participation in the VMJV consists of the investors acquiring a part of the VMJV by signing the contract and paying the desired amount. By acquiring this stake, investors gain indirect access to the US stock exchanges. The VMJV invests the company's capital at the various trading venues and tries to generate profits with it. These profits, if any, are then distributed as dividends every quarter. The distribution can either be made directly to the investor or can also increase the shareholding.
